Super easy to install, doesn't block the window, work quiet, looks good, and does not need any brackets or supports! Awesome! If you want to see more details on this unit, here it is on amazon:

The #1 Reason Why A Furnace Has to be Replaced

Can I use my Rheem model # to order a spare capacitator? Also, I watched your video on how to install a capacitor; however, I'm confused as to where the wires go. I have an oval capacitator with two four prong thingy on top. The old one does not have labels like fan, "C", Herm ...OK I know only dual capacitators have them labeled, so I should take a pic of the existing one prior to disconnecting & follow that pattern. Is there another way to know how to connect them? I understand it's one wire connect on each of the four things on the connector. I'm a female, I appreciate your videos.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

@4m "the unit in the sun will work 10h, while the unit in the shade will work 8h" why would the outdoor unit work more or less when it only turns on based on the... nevermind, I think I got it. The one in the sun is hotter so it can't pump the heat out of the house as easily thus it works longer. I think it was just the phrasing that threw me off. I'll probably build a shade for mine not only for better cooling, but for hail and snow protection. It's a heat pump, during the winter it doesn't work as well if there's snow on it. Spraying water onto the coils on hot dry days will increase the efficiency of the unit massively, but it also uses a ton of water. If you're somewhere where water is more scarce than power it's not worth it. Spraying water around the unit doesn't do much. Plus it could spray mud and stuff onto the unit. Not all outdoor units blow up, mine sucks air from near the house and blows it away from the house. Once the heat/light comes in the windows it's in the house and needs to be pumped out. Blinds/shades don't matter much. They'll hold some of the heat near the window where it can radiate out a little, but most of it will just stay in the house. I experimented with those UV filter tints on my sliding door. Put one on the outside, and one on the inside. The outside one was markedly cooler than the inside one. You've gotta worry about weather and stuff, I just added some white duct tape to the corners to ensure it won't blow away. Looks a little janky up close but works quite well. Wish I had those tilting windows so I didn't need to get scaffolding or a ladder out for the other windows. Another bonus to putting them on the outside is that you can use them on double and triple paned windows without worry. You're not supposed to use it on those else the vinyl gets too hot and starts melting. Next I'm trying to figure out how to shade a whole side of my house. The walls are barely R15 and that morning/early afternoon sun practically shines through the wall to heat the house up. A shade sail can work, but every install I've seen is on a porch or existing window or as a roof. Not vertically freestanding, or on the side of the house. Plus it gets insanely windy here, so it'll have to be stronger than average.

I had one of those Midea ones and liked it a lot, gave it to my gram when I moved. This saddle shape seems even better. Now if only they'd make a C shaped one for windows that open sideways. It might not need a bracket either, just support it with those adjustable feet inside and out. Could do a min-split instead, but those are expensive and hard to move/remove when you're done. These window units can move with you.

I have weird symptoms. Firstly, it should be known that my filter went wayyyy too long without being changed. I noticed that my house wasn't getting cooler so I went and changed it. Still, there's little or no airflow. The minimal air I'm getting seems cold, but there's little of it. The outdoor unit fan spins and I can hear the condenser hum. There didn't seem to be any cottonwood or anything plugging it up, but I sprayed it with the hose anyway with no luck. I went back inside to check the blower fan. I can hear it spinning. None of the return air vents are blocked. All the cooling vents seem equally weak. I've checked the duct work, it's all in tact. I'm stumped. Someone suggested ice buildup from the bad filter, but I didn't see any (at least on the outer panels of the furnace, I didn't open it). Just in case, I shut it down for 8 hours to let any ice melt. No luck. Oh, and I noticed that there was condensation on the insulated line that comes from the outdoor unit, so I'm assuming I'm not low on refrigerant. I don't think it's my thermostat, I haven't changed anything in ages, and also special thermostat programs usually limit how often the unit is on, but it told me my unit ran for 22.5 hours straight... With no inside temperature change.

Appreciate the share, but too many unknowns. For those that lost they stones, great, but I am not convinced it was the juice as they most often pass on their own.

Hello 👋 good buddy good to see you jay 👍 😀 😊 ❤. I never heard of one of them before. Are they more costlier than a regular unit? Well I like it better than the traditional ones..I think 🤔 I'd like to get me one of those. I hope all is well with you buddy and your family. My uncle is doing much better now he is back to driving again but he still is razor thin. They stopped giving him chemo because it was causing his kidneys to fail and the cancer is still growing it went from four hundred to a thousand but I don't remember what that means but it can't be good though. Been a lot going on here I lost a neighbor of mine this morning he had struggled with copd disease for years and he got double pneumonia and passed away this morning he was up in his seventies. And a couple of weeks ago I helped dig my childhood best friend grave and I helped in covering him up. I haven't talked to him in twenty nine years he got heavy in drugs and it completely messed his mind up he didn't know me and the day I helped bury him I came home and got a call that my neighbor out the road from me was found deceased and he was gone for a couple days they said so not a pleasant sight my best friend was discovered after three days and they couldn't embalm him and no viewing and they had a graveside service for him i was a pallbearer and we packed the casket in the small family cemetery and everyone gathered about a hundred feet away because of were he was dead for so long 💔. After that I was trimming a wild lemon/orange tree and it has huge thorns on it and I got jabbed in the knuckle and I didn't know they were poisonous and my hand swollen twice it's sized and the worst hurt ever it put me out of commission for a week and just now getting back to normal. The grass is growing soo fast here it's hard to stay on top of it..well good buddy Jay take care my friend and tell everyone I said hello 👋 and I love you guys. Take care and God bless you and your family.
